A Long Song To An Unknown Spectator

Slovenian magazine Maska ( www.maska.si/eng/) , for it’s 100th issue, commissioned contributions from the artistis that the magazin has written about in the period between 2000 to 2005. Ivana Müller being one of them proposed the project A Long Song To An Unknown Spectator (a proposal for a long term relationship).
Along 100th issue of Maska, its editorial is preparing the publication of 200th issue which would, with this pace kept, come out in 2023. The two hundredth issue was published in September 2006 in electronic form, the printed version will see the light of day in 2023. CD-rom with contributions was published as a supplement to Maska ‘s 100th issue.
Related to this project, Musem of Modern Art Ljubljana (curators Zdenka Badovinac & Emil Hrvatin) had organized the exhibition Arteast Collection 2000+23. www.mg-lj.si/index.jsp
More than 60 artists, about whom Maska has written during the five years (2000-2006), prepared proposals of their work which they would realize in the year 2023, when the 200th issue of Maska is to be published. The proposals were exhibited together with the works from the national collection and from the international collection of the Museum of Modern Art Arteast 2000+.
Opening took place on the September 22, 2006 at 8:00pm.
